BeeSolver is building a web and mobile marketplace platform where customers can discover service providers, book available time slots, and complete payments through a connected booking flow. Providers can list their services, manage bookings, and track payment statuses from the same platform.
Our client wanted to make it easy to find and book. Customers were searching across social media and calling providers to check availability, while providers juggled bookings across phone calls, chats and notebooks.
We mapped the seeker and provider journeys separately, then defined the shared booking states that connect them.
Availability, booking status and payment status all live on the Laravel backend, never only on a user's device.
A React web app and a React Native mobile app share the same API, so a booking made on one shows up correctly on the other.
Seekers and providers sign in with token-based authentication and only see the actions their role allows.

Problem
When two seekers try to book the same slot at the same moment, both can appear to succeed.
Solution
The backend re-checks availability inside a database transaction at the moment of booking, so only one request can claim a slot. Cancellations release the slot through the same logic, so it's never shown as both free and taken.
Problem
A payment screen saying “success” on a device doesn't prove the money actually moved.
Solution
Laravel confirms every payment directly with the gateway before updating the booking, and completion is only recorded after that check passes.
Problem
Push messages can arrive late, twice or not at all, which confuses users about where a booking stands.
Solution
Notifications are treated as alerts, not records. The app always loads the latest booking status from the server, so a delayed or duplicate message can't mislead anyone.
Problem
Seekers and providers share one platform but must never see or change each other's private data.
Solution
Token-based authentication and role-based authorisation protect every booking change, profile update and payment action, with validation on the server for each request.
The two highlighted steps are where the server takes over from the user's device, which is what prevents double bookings and unverified payments.
